English Cardinal Agustín García-Gasco, Archbishop Emeritus of Valencia, died Sunday in Rome , where he was visiting for the beatification of John Paul II.

Cardinal 80 years died of a stroke the heart.
According to initial reports, the cardinal was to attend the beatification ceremony. Felt ill that morning and died at a hospital in Rome.
García-Gasco was born on February 12, 1931. It was a seminarian in 1944 and was ordained a priest in Madrid in 1956. Rome
