INOVA helps organize the international symposium "Management Strategies in Fishery Products Parasitosis"

Foundation's Ocean Technology Center, organizes, together with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), Institute of Marine Research in Vigo and Commercial Company Hospital Group-3, International Symposium "Parasitic Management Strategies in Fishery Products."

In the interest of promoting and popularizing science knowledge transfer, INOVA working with the organizers in holding this conference, aimed at becoming a Forum transmission scientific and technical capabilities useful for different stakeholders: the government, the extractive sector, producer and marketer of seafood.

Specifically, the objective of this symposium, to be held on November 25 in the Social Centre in Vigo Caixanova is to offer solutions to the problems inherent in the management of stocks, products and byproducts fisheries potentially susceptible to be infected with parasites, which undermine the productivity of the resource to its allergenic properties.

participation has been achieved in the event of experts international prestige in the area treated, as Dr. Dave Marcogliese, Environmental Center from St. Lawrence in Canada; and nationally, as Dr. Margarita Tejada, the Institute of Refrigeration (CSIC).
